This stud threads directly into the side of the engine block to allow you to run either of the following configurations:

 

  • Bolting your oil filter directly to the engine block.
  • Running a oil filter sandwich to an oil cooler & filter after.
  • Running a remote filter adapter directly to your desired setup.

Fits RB20DET, RB25DET, RB26DETT, as well as other RB configurations.

This works great, be careful with which way you place your sandwich plate, things can get a little crowded near the intake plenum. But otherwise the part is well worth the money!
